Bridger Roasted Barley

Characteristics

Contributes rich, dark colors of walnut and coffee and flavors of hazelnut, coffee grounds, and cocoa powder with aromas of wood char and peat. 

Use and Application

Bridger Roasted Barley is produced from raw, unmalted barley. Used as a specialty ingredient, roasted barley may be used to impart rich, dark colors of walnut and coffee to dark-colored beer styles such as stouts and porters. With Bridger, brewers can expect flavors of hazelnut, coffee grounds, and cocoa powder paired with aromas of wood char and peat. 

All of our malts are grown and malted sustainably from field to kiln on our farm in Manhattan, MT.
